General Aspects

  • In rare cases a few animals might show some allergic reaction or anaphylactic shock after vaccination (any where between 5 minutes to few hours after vaccination). It is advised to administer antihistamines like Avil/Pheniramine maleate and epinephrine/ conritisone in such cases.
  • In some of the vaccinated animals, there could be rise in body temperature and a slight drop in milk yield post vaccination. Swellings at the site of vaccination are not uncommon and these are mostly self-limiting
  • Accidental inoculation of vaccine by the handlers might happen and in such cases immediate medical advice should be sought.
